What a CBD cosmetic brief should contain

A cosmetic brief is a formula and a pack, plus the rules of the country where the jar will be sold. It is not a list of benefits.

The lines that belong in the brief

Format: facial serum, face moisturiser, body lotion, massage oil, or another format you can describe. Cannabinoid input: isolate or a named spectrum. Level in the finished product, not only in the ingredient. Pack size, material and closure. Whether the formula is a partner formula or yours. Estimated units and destination country.

If the topical uses full spectrum oil, say what THC result the finished good must meet. A low result in the ingredient can still be the wrong result once it is diluted, or the right one. The arithmetic belongs in the specification.

The lines that do not belong to us

We do not claim an effect on skin, pain, sleep or any other condition. We do not call a cream medical, clinical, or drug-like. Those words are how cosmetic files become regulatory problems. Your responsible person, or the equivalent in the destination, owns the product information file and the claims.

Manufacturing systems such as GMP may apply to a partner site. Which certificate applies is confirmed in due diligence. A sentence on this page is not that certificate. Use the cosmetics page to start the file, and the quote form to send it.
